MORE ABOUT THE CLASS
Photoshop essentials for screen printing (LVL 110)
In this class, students will learn the core Photoshop skills required to create clean, production-ready artwork for screen-printing film positives. The focus is on building practical competency—selections, layers, basic layout, typography, filters, image preparation, export for film output, and using AI tools to generate mockups and visualize designs in context. Students will also learn how to evaluate artwork for printability and prepare reliable two-color and three-color designs.
The course is delivered across three 2.5-hour online Zoom sessions that blend short design lectures, live software demonstrations, production techniques, guided hands-on exercises, and personalized feedback. Throughout the class, students will complete a series of small build-up projects leading to a finished multicolor, screen-print-ready design by the end of session three.
